UPDATES WONT WORK XBOX??

i just came back from a vacation and started to play assassins creed. When i tried to play mw2 with my bro i had to update. the update took an hour then it rashed. i tried again... 4 times. then i gave up and went to black ops. update again. and i have to wait again and then it crashes. my xbox is brand new i just upgraded to slim and now it wont work. im not a hacker i have tons of space WHAT IS GOIN ON!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!??!?!!?!?!?!?… Sorry for bad grammer im MAD
