Shouldn't the government drill there own oil, like the deal in the ANWAR area in Alaska?
Opening these regions would provide a boost to the market, not by the actual numbers, but due to renewed confidence that America is ready to get back to work instead of talking about it. The actual boon would be in oil shale, not oil. We have massive fields of sahale oil but like our reluctance to mine for coal, which results in about 45% of our electrical energy, or natural gas, which equals 25%, we refuse to do in favor of wind farms, inefficient ethanol, needing 11 acres of corn to fill one car for the year, and flux capacitor pipe dreams not based on the reality of NOW...
