Should I play dragon age origins?

What I mean is, I'm playing through the second one right now and I'm really enjoying it. When I finish should i go back and play origins or will it be like playing assassins creed 1 after playing brotherhood and you're just sitting there like 'well this sucks'. Thankyouu :) xx
