U.S. Drug Czar: whats your thought on this topic on drugs?

I would eliminate the DEA - it's a waste of money. Cocaine is higher quality and cheaper now than it was in the 70's. The laws don't work. i agree with Ron Paul, that if drugs were legal - people still won't be doing coke and heroin. The laws certainly aren't stopping the people who want dope. A much smaller amount of money than we are spending now could be used for #3.
